Henry Hallward

Henry Hallward

Founder and Publisher

Henry started his own business as a mobile safari guide in 1993 in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia. In 1995 he founded Tongabezi Expeditions in Zambia with three partners which operated expedition support, canoe safaris, mobile safaris and tented safari camps on the Zambezi River, Kafue National Park and South Luangwa National Park. Returning to the UK to educate his daughters in 1998 he continues to work within the African industry and has just completed a chairmanship of ATTA - the African Tourism and Travel Association, representing over 400 key businesses in the safari industry.
Jackie Mwansa-Harris

Jackie Mwansa-Harris

Communications Manager

Jackie began her career at Tongabezi Lodge in Zambia and has since marketed Chilongozi Safaris and Chaminuka Lodge as well as acting as specialist tours consultant for a number of Zambian travel agents. No stranger to WTM and Indaba, Jackie's move to the UK gives us an energetic and always smiling team member with hands-on experience of many of the best camps and lodges Africa has to offer.

Sarah Collins

Sarah Collins

Personal Assistant

Sarah joined the team as PA to Henry. With nearly 20 years of experience (in various companies working for a variety of characters) she is well placed to keep us all organised and to deal with all the paperwork and administration. She juggles all the things we throw at her with family life in Oxfordshire (and her children love looking at the pictures in the guide and spotting the animals).
Fi Culligan

Fi Culligan

Awards Manager

Fi lives and breathes safari; she was born in Kenya and was known to many running the reservations & marketing company, The Mellifera Collection. She became a familiar face when working for Lonrho Hotels, Origins Safaris, Elephant Watch Safaris and Mathews Safaris to name a few, and has now joined the expanding Mirada Travel Media team, heading up the Safari Awards in the UK.

Natasha Page-Wood

Natasha Page-Wood

Assistant Editor

Natasha is our newest recruit. She has a unique synergy with the wilds of Southern Africa and Madagascar having been extensively exposed to wildlife management and eco-tourism planning from her very earliest years and later through her own studies and work experience. This intimate connection to Africa and her great passion for the safari industry and conservation led her to the Good Safari Guide. Currently based in Ireland pursuing her travel goals she remains strongly committed to her native lands through her role as our Assistant Editor.
